Community events<\/h1>\n

Visibility of LGBTIQ+ people is of the utmost importance both for individuals and for the community as a whole, and being a part of the LGBTIQ+ community can give us a sense of belonging, it feels like we are seen, like we are stronger together. Having similar challenges and experiences makes it easier for us to support and encourage each other, which is especially important when we feel lonely and overlooked.<\/p>\n

The community events that we organise at SQVOT serve as visible symbols of our existence and the importance of community for the individual.<\/p>\n

SQVOT Living Room opens its doors every second Monday at the Monokel club in Ljubljana’s Metelkova district, where we hang out between 5 and 8 pm. At every meeting there is a person from the SQVOT programme, who makes the room even safer and has a lot of information about the programme and the services we offer.<\/p>\n
