During the Ljubljana Pride Festival 2021, as part of the SQVOT program, we presented the exhibition: The Colours of Homelessness.<\/p>\n

The exhibition addresses the often overlooked but increasingly urgent issue of homelessness and housing exclusion among LGBTIQ+ youth.<\/p>\n

The exhibition consists of two interconnected elements. The first consists of infographics that creatively and comprehensibly present the findings of research conducted by the Ljubljana Pride Association. This is the first research on homelessness and housing exclusion among LGBTIQ+ youth in Slovenia. It includes the experiences of young LGBTIQ+ individuals as well as organizations covering LGBTIQ+ issues and homelessness.<\/p>\n

The second element of the exhibition consists of artworks by four young LGBTIQ+ individuals who depict their own experiences with homelessness and housing difficulties in various ways. Through different artistic media, they share their stories and bring the life realities of the discussed topic closer to the visitors.<\/p>\n
